Set up the WQM for Deployment

Set up Sampling Configuration
Once you determine the WQM is functional and is communicating with the host PC, set it up for your deployment.

With power on and WQM in Standby mode, determine how you want the meter to sample.

Example 1—Collect data for 30 seconds every half-hour.
Set Interval Time to 00:30:00.
Set Sample For to 00:00:30
The WQM will sample for 30 seconds after 29 min. and 30 sec.

Example 2—Collect data for 5 minutes every 2 hours.
Set Interval Time to 02:00:00.
Set Sample For to 00:05:00
The WQM will sample for 5 minutes after 1 hour and 55 min.

Select Send New Setup. The yellow will clear. It's not advisable (or necessary) to change the BLIS configurations. The yellow is simply to call attention to the values.

Note that the meter's warm-up time is not counted as part of the Interval Time.

To save this setup configuration for another WQM or future use, select Save Setup to save your settings on the host PC.

Set up Output Parameters

Access the WQM Output tab from the Advanced menu.

The WQM is factory-set to sample and output the checked parameters. You can view this output real-time in the Scroll Data tab.

To change any parameters, check or uncheck the associated box, then select Send Output Configuration.

The WQM automatically saves sample data. If you'd also like to save it to the host PC as well, click
