Retrieving and Uploading Data using ECOView
Save or Upload Data
Select
ECO models have data logging capabilities with 1 Mb of memory, which is about 90,000 samples for single-parameter meters such as the FL and the BB. Mutliple-parameter meters such as the BB2F and custom Triplet can store about 65,000 samples.
You can simultaneously save both raw and processed data to the host PC.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to select a location to save data. Do NOT simply let the Windows operating system select the default location in Documents and Settings. The data will not actually be saved.
To save data to the host computer:
• select Record Raw (data in counts) and create a filename, and/or
• select Record Engr (processed data) and a filename.
Select Start Data. The host computer will save time-synchronized .raw and .eng files, depending on the options you've chosen.

If you have an ECO meter capable of internally logging data (factory default is ON), you can transfer (upload) internally logged data to the host computer by selecting the Transfer Data tab, then Receive Data. Status indicators to the right of this button will display file upload progress.
To erase the internal memory in the ECO meter, select Erase Memory either under the Transfer Data tab or the Meter Setup tab.
